I had a lot of white angora yarn, but not enough for an entire sweater.  I finally decided to create this sweater using the 100% angora for the bodice and 100% linen for the off-the-shoulder sleeves.  To give it some more panache, I added the knitted bobble clusters of grapes made out of the linen with angora leaves and vines.  It looks fabulous with a long black skirt and a strand of pearls. This is my first attempt of knitting on my new knitting machine.  Granted, this is not entirely made by the machine, there is still a lot of handwork to be done ... manipulating the stitches, etc.  However, I did knit all of the edges by hand after I had knit the main body on the machine.  By doing this, it was knit and complete within 24 hours.  If I had knit the entire poncho by hand, it would have taken me a week (evenings only).

It is knit with 100% cotton yarn.  One strand of light green and one strand of dark green.  The flower was sewn on after the poncho was completed.
