STRAPS: nylon (purchased at Jo-Ann Fabric)
BEADS: glass (purchased at Jo-Ann Fabric)
The purse is my own design and is large enough to hold files. It was knit for my son's switch class teacher. I love the bold & vibrant colors used in this tote along with the playful round outside pocket finished with a ribbon & grommet closure.
This tote was supposed to be a napsack but wool doesn't always felt in the direction you
thinkplan it will. It was originally knit twice as long as it is wide but it felted vertically more than it did horizontally. After sleeping on it for a couple of days I finally determined to make it a tote bag that she can sling over her shoulder. The purse is extremely roomy with a large snap closure. I'm very pleased with the finished product. -
