My Knitting Library
I decided to knit my mother-in-law a purse that she could use on a
regular basis. I bought the yarn on EBay from one of my favorite
sellers. She was selling it as a poncho kit, but I wanted the
yarn for another purpose. It is the most amazing lush yarn
combination, consisting of 2 strands of fine Italian kid mohair (one in
cerise and the other in eggplant), 1 end of Italian wool/nylon boucle in
an orange/burgundy, 1 end of sparkly Italian viscose feather chenille
in beet red and 1 end of Chinese 100% silk chenille in gold. When
the yarn arrived, I doubled it up to make it extra bulky. The
purse has natural bamboo handles and is lined with a golden cotton,
viscose, silk Waverly fabric.
