Angora linen sweater b.jpg
I had a lot of white angora yarn, but not enough for an entire sweater.  I finally decided to create this sweater using the 100% angora for the bodice and 100% linen for the off-the-shoulder sleeves.  To give it some more panache, I added the knitted bobble clusters of grapes made out of the linen with angora leaves and vines.  It looks fabulous with a long black skirt and a strand of pearls. YARN:  8 strands of navy sea island cotton (soft as butter) and 1 strand of Claudia hand painted silk in variagated jewel tones

NEEDLES:  US 8 circular

PATTERN:  RYC Classic Beach, Book 9, Sea Breeze

The pattern called for 1400 yards but I only had 1100 yards so I knit short sleeves rather than the 3/4 length that the pattern calls for.  I would have prefered the 3/4 length sleeve but am content with the short sleeves.  This sweater is extremely comfortable and soft.
